I swear that one of these days I’ll stop updating about college, especially since it hasn’t even started yet! But I can’t help it, I’m excited! So excited that I’ve tentatively picked out classes for the Spring semester! I decided to suck it up, put on my big girl panties and get that damn science class out of the way. So the one I picked is apparently a science class for non-science majors/minors so hopefully it won’t be too insane!

ENG 309 is Medieval British Literature
ENG 311 is 17-18th Century British Literature
MSCI 100/101 is Intro to Physical Science and the lab
PSYC 301 is Biological Basis of Behavior

Apparently I’ll have money left over from my loan for this semester. Do those of you who have loans know if I’ll be able to put it toward next semester or if that money just disappears? Before I officially sign up for next semester I’ll email and ask to make sure but I was just curious if anyone knew!

A ‘Ring of Fire’ solar eclipse is a rare phenomenon that occurs when the moon’s orbit is at its apogee: the part of its orbit farthest away from the Earth. Because the moon is so far away, it seems smaller than normal to the human eye. The result is that the moon doesn’t entirely block out our view of the sun, but leaves an “annulus,” or ring of sunlight glowing around it. Hence the term  “annular” eclipse rather than a “total” eclipse.
